The short back zipper resists flushing with the help of an exterior drain and a pullover neck seal. The collar, wrist, and legs cuffs are flush resistant, and the seams are sealed and double taped (taped inside and outside). The internal poly fleece lining helps to wick moisture from your body. All of this boils down to you being drier and warmer in the water.
